HHS Leadership Class

The HHS Leadership Course is designed to provide students with the opportunity to develop their leadership skills and promote school spirit at Hamilton.  We begin the semester by planning Homecoming.  Students are responsible for carrying out activities, boosting student involvement, and getting students excited about the week.  Then, we move into developing their organization, interview, and interpersonal skills.  This allows students to work on their soft skills that will help them outside of Hamilton High School.  We then move into community service and begin that unit with the Food Drive.  Students are responsible for collecting food for our local food bank.  We end the semester with their final project.  The goal of these projects is to get students to recognize a need in their school/community and cultivate a positive change in that area of interest, while simultaneously developing skills that promote leadership.
