National Honor Society (NHS) membership has been an internationally respected indication of exceptional student achievement for over 100 years. Hamilton High School’s NHS Chapter honors our most highly achieving students, while simultaneously empowering them to elevate their accomplishments through the four pillars of NHS: scholarship, service, leadership, and character.
Hamilton High School’s NHS Chapter meets on the first Monday of each month throughout the school year to plan and execute service projects that benefit the community in which we live. The Chapter’s Faculty Council members graciously volunteer their time to perpetuate the success of the Chapter and its student members.
Potential NHS candidates are notified of the member selection process during the second semester of their Junior and/or Senior year. New member induction generally occurs in April following the Faculty Council’s selection of new members.
