The HMS Track parent meeting is tonight at 6:30pm in the HMS auditorium. Any parents of students in 6th-8th grades interested in participating in track must attend. Practice begins April 3.

Congratulations to Hamilton Middle School 7th grade student, Joelle Doering, on winning the CAF Rise Above essay contest! This essay contest was a nationwide contest and Joelle took 1st place in the 6th-8th grade division! The Commemorative Air Force Rise Above mantra is: "Inspiring young people to RISE ABOVE adversity using the lessons and stories of the Tuskegee Airmen and the Women Air Force Service Pilots."

Hamilton High School parents, guardians, and students:
On April 11th, the juniors at HHS will all be taking the ACT test as part of the OPI directed assessments. To provide the best testing environment only juniors will attend school that day. Freshmen, sophomores, and seniors will not have school. When the Juniors have completed their test, they will be released around 2:00 pm.

Due to the fact that we will be missing an “A” day for seven consecutive days we are going to change April 12th to an “A” day. THIS WILL NOT AFFECT ANY OTHER DAYS.
Classroom Without Walls went to Lee Metcalf Wildlife Refuge and Raptors of the Rockies today!
It was a great day! They saw around 25 different bird species and three porcupines at Lee Metcalf. They then saw several eagles, falcons, hawks and owls at Raptors of the Rockies.

On Tuesday, HMS celebrated Pi Day with a school-wide assembly that saw selected students throw pies at teachers!
Hamilton High School Baseball game scheduled for Friday March 17th against Columbia Falls has been cancelled. No makeup date has been set. Our first home baseball game will be Tuesday, March 21st vs. Frenchtown. Varsity will play at 3 pm and the JV will follow.
